Terms of Service

Welcome to ProResume. These Terms of Service ("Terms") explain the rules for using our resume and CV builder app on iOS and Android. We've written them in plain English so you know exactly what to expect. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

  • By downloading or using ProResume, you agree to these Terms.
  • If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

  • ProResume is a resume and CV builder that generates PDF documents from the information you provide.
  • All data processing happens on your device. There is no cloud processing — your documents are generated locally.
  • Features include: 34 resume templates, a cover letter builder, a job application tracker, interview reminders, reusable user profiles, and PDF export and sharing.
  • The free tier has usage limits. A premium subscription or lifetime purchase lifts those limits.

3. Your Content

  • All content you enter into the app belongs to you.
  • Your content is stored locally on your device — we have no access to it.
  • You grant us no license to your content.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you enter.
  • You must not enter content that violates the rights of others or any applicable laws.

4. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

  • Premium features are unlocked through a subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase.
  • Available plans: Weekly and Yearly (auto-renewing subscriptions), and Lifetime (a one-time, non-consumable purchase).
  • Payment is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store — not directly by us.
  • Billing is handled by RevenueCat on our behalf.
  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device's subscription settings (App Store or Play Store).
  • Prices may vary by country. All prices shown include applicable taxes where required.
  • Refunds: We do not process refunds directly. All refund requests must go through Apple (support.apple.com/billing) or Google (Google Play refund request) under their respective policies.
Subscription summary: Weekly and Yearly plans renew automatically until you cancel. The Lifetime plan is a single one-time payment with no renewal. Manage everything from your App Store or Play Store account settings.

5. Intellectual Property

  • The app's code, design, templates, name, and logo are the property of ProResume.
  • Content you create (your resume data and PDFs) belongs to you.
  • We make no claim over your personal or professional information.
  • The app's templates and visual design may not be reproduced or redistributed.

6. Third-Party Services

  • The app integrates RevenueCat for purchase management, which is subject to RevenueCat's terms and policies.
  • The app uses Google Fonts for PDF rendering, which is subject to Google's terms.
  • Links in the app may open third-party websites. We are not responsible for third-party content.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

  • The app is provided "as is" and "as available."
  • We do not guarantee that the app will meet all your requirements or operate error-free.
  • We are not responsible for the content you place in your resumes or cover letters.
  • We do not guarantee any job offers or employment outcomes from using the app.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProResume is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • We are not liable for data loss. Your data stays on your device, and the app has no server-side ability to recover or delete it.
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for a premium subscription, if any, in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkiye.
  • Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Turkiye.

10. Termination

  • You may stop using the app at any time.
  • Uninstalling the app removes all local data from your device.
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the app with reasonable notice.

11. Changes to These Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or our website.
  • Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. No Account / No Cloud Backup

  • The app has no account system. Your data is not synced to any server.
  • If your device is lost, damaged, or the app is uninstalled, your data cannot be recovered.
  • You are responsible for exporting and saving PDF copies of your resumes.
